- With the exception of a handful of wordpress stylesheets, all not that ugly templates are linkware. That means they’re free to use, but you must retain the link back to this site. See the creative commons license for more information.
- Any links to image, brush, or font sources must also be retained, in accordance with the terms of use of those sites.
- The design of the site itself is NOT a template. You may not re-use any portion of it without explicit permission from me (which you are unlikely to get, by the way).
- You may NOT offer any of the code or images for download in any form on another site without explicit permission from me. (Tutorials and tips, however, may be reproduced with a link back.)
- If you take a template, LEAVE A COMMENT on the relevant post. This is for your benefit rather than mine, as it lets me keep track of which designs are most popular.
- Customisation of templates is permitted; however, rule 1 still applies. If you make major changes, please alter the ‘design’ link to ‘based on a not that ugly design’. I don’t want to take all the credit for your work any more than I want you taking all the credit for mine
- Any direct linking to images on this site is done at your own risk; I can’t guarantee their continued (or continuous) availability. At the very least, save a copy to disk. I would advise that you also keep a copy of any code generated.
- If your site contains racist, sexist, or homophobic content, I’d appreciate it if you went elsewhere. You wouldn’t want to be benefiting from the efforts of a left-wing feminist atheist, now, would you?
- These templates are for personal and non-profit sites only. Basically, the license under which I use many of my images does not allow for their commercial use. To be honest, I can’t imagine why you’d want to use an amateur blog template for anything other than an amateur blog, but it’s as well to cover everything.
